Firstly, a little bit about me and what I'm doing. My name is Jenny and I've not long finished my second year at Coventry University studying French and Spanish. As of September, i'll be embarking on a new adventure which will take my study of french and spanish to FRANCE AND SPAIN! Makes sense, right? More importantly, I'll be studying at the university of Lille from September to January, and the university of Valencia from February to July time - pretty exciting! As far as I'm aware, there aren't any blogs from a Coventry uni student out there - so I guess I'm putting myself (and the uni) out there!
There's not a great deal more that I know at this moment in time, other than my induction at Lille is on September 3rd (and that I have to find myself some accommodation by that date... fuck). Hopefully I can update this blog with helpful posts about the search for accommodation, what the process in like in france in comparison to the UK, and how the prices differ (etc etc), as well as budgeting, travelling experiences and ways to cope with immersing yourself in a new culture - obviously I'll be doing this as I learn though, I haven't even gone yet! Other than that, there's not much to say... apart from I hope you enjoy the read, and feel free to ask me any questions!
